How We Approach Asphalt Work

Asphalt Paving North Richland Hills paves and maintains asphalt for homeowners, businesses, churches and property managers in North Richland Hills and the surrounding mid-cities: Richland Hills, Haltom City, Watauga, Keller, Hurst, Euless, Bedford and beyond. The work covers new and replacement driveways, parking lots, resurfacing, repairs, sealcoating and striping.

Northeast Tarrant County is a patchwork underground. Geologists describe sandy Woodbine soils across the mid-cities, the ground that once grew the Cross Timbers oaks, alongside clay-rich layers that swell when wet. Two driveways on the same street can sit on very different ground. So we check what is under the old pavement before we decide how deep the new base should be.

Water is the other half of it. North Richland Hills says plainly that drainage on private lots is the owner's responsibility, and that diverting or concentrating runoff onto a neighbor's property goes against state water law. When we regrade a driveway or a lot, we plan where the water will go, not just how the surface will look.

You get a written bid that lists removal, base depth, asphalt thickness, edges, sealing and striping as separate prices. Nothing starts until you approve it, and any change is written up for your approval first.

What guides the work

  • We look under the surface before choosing a repair.
  • Base and asphalt depths are on the bid.
  • Runoff is directed to the street or a proper outlet, never onto a neighbor.
  • Paving is scheduled around summer heat and wet ground.
  • New asphalt cures before it is sealed.
  • Commercial layouts follow the 2010 ADA Standards for accessible parking.
